The mission of our International Matrix is to develop relationships that offer sales, services and support products to an international market as a manufacturer's representative for emerging companies that need global presence. As a manufacturers representative organization, IntlMatrix is designed to maximize "on demand" presence while minimizing customer resources through efficient application of resources to meet company requirements. IntlMatrix applies our knowledge of global contacts and customers for companies that can leverage our resources for business in and outside of the US. IntlMatrix is constantly forging worldwide relationships that expand the "high tech matrix".

 

About IntlMatrix

The International Matrix concept began a couple of years ago as more and more of us began to look for whatever was going to be “the next wave of opportunity”. We reminisced about how much fun we had when we were selling “things we believed in”   for companies that had their vision accurately focused.
We changed the future together for those companies and we had a great time doing it.

So…..time passed. As you would expect, some of us left, some of us stayed. All of us stayed in contact, though and we told each other…”Let’s do it again sometime!”

Today, IntlMatrix is a loosely formed group of veteran sales professionals, Sales Reps of the YEAR, and individual consultants that are ready to change the future for you !!

We have had relationships with most major corporations in most major vertical markets in the world. We've sold high tech products to CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, Senior Executives, Engineers and “tekkies” at all levels

Tom Hartsell
Principal

Tom Hartsell has 30+ years experience in sales, marketing and engineering. His hardware and software sales experience includes direct sales, strategic sales and worldwide sales management for OEM and End users. He has also done project management for product launch, marketing/sales campaigns for CAD/CAM and personal computers and enterprise systems.


As a Worldwide Sales Manager, Tom developed and managed a team of Sales Reps around the globe. This experience, plus his entrepreneurial background has led him to develop
IntlMatrix with his worldwide associates and relationships.


Tom is a highly effective account executive capable of changing the future. He has extensive domestic and international experience in strategic account management and account relationships. He is extremely competitive, creative, and entrepreneurial in attacking impossible tasks.

Tom's abilities as a "hunter" vs. a "farmer" have won him multiple over-achievement awards for blazing new markets and new opportunities. Tom intuitively develops business models and attack plans that create new markets.

As a strategic sales rep, Tom was awarded Strategic Sales Rep of the Year twice by landing the first OEM partners for software companies. Doing things first is what he's about…paving the way for a highly leveraged Worldwide Strategic Sales Team to generate $50M+ in software revenue over 4 years.

As an early employee of Dell Computer Corporation (and what a startup it was!), Tom developed and ran an Advanced System Sales force that explained to the world why people should buy a computer from a 20 year old kid. Tom handled Government, Education and Medical accounts and trade show selling too.

Tom has also worked with the US Federal Government on major procurements. He was the lead for Desktop IV Federal Proposal for US Air Force as Prime Contractor. Tom wrote, in 38 days on a laptop in Chantilly, Va., managed, and delivered $10M worth of contracts in 72 boxes of documentation on 12 integrated systems in an 18 wheeler to the US Air Force in Montgomery, Alabama.


Ashok Sharma
Strategic Business Development EMEA

Ashok Sharma has over 16 years experience in the IT industry and is an accomplished strategic sales and business development professional. He has spearheaded various international assignments across Europe and the USA by taking ownership of complex solutions from bid to implementation and devising practical methods to improve overall business performance and deliver tangible results.


Ashok has held senior sales management positions at Sun Microsystems, Lucent, Dell, SCO, AST and Intel Corporation and developed strategic hardware, software and consulting alliances with top-tier industry partners from the OEM, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Finance, Utilities and System Integration market sectors.

As Regional Sales Manager of Software Sales in EMEA at Sun Microsystems he grew the European software business by 156% and contributed to the overall success of the Worldwide Software Group in generating over $50M of licensing revenues.

Ashok managed, motivated and developed cross-functional, international sales, marketing and technical teams to share and deploy internal/external resources to win large volume solution contracts with major Enterprise and Telecommunication vendors.


His strength lies in defining high-level corporate strategy and value creation. Ashok is an energetic, results focused leader with a "hands-on" implementation and a team-orientated approach.

Terrence Tek Lin LIM
Strategic Business Development Asia

 

A Malaysian Born Chinese, graduated with a B.S. Elec. Eng. degree from Ohio State University, U.S.A, and an MBA from Heriot Watt University, Scotland, U.K., Terrence Lim speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese and a few other Chinese dialects. Due to his unique background, he understands and appreciates both Eastern & Western cultures, coupled with his multi-lingual proficiencies; he has proven his strength in international business.

Terrence Lim started his career as a Systems Engineer with the largest mobile communication carrier in Malaysia, Maxis Communication Berhad. His self-motivation, diligence, initiatives, analytical and creative mind in handling business issues soon advanced his career to project Manager.

Being a professional trained engineer, Terrence possesses sound technical knowledge in
· Electrical & Computer Engineering.
· Information Systems for Telecommunication Industry.
· Telecommunications Network Operation and Process.
· Wireless Service Quality Management.
· LAN/WAN, TCP/IP & Wireless networking.
· UNIX Operating System (SUN Solaris Trained)
· Basic RDBMS. (Oracle Trained)
After graduating with an MBA, Terrence joined WatchMark Inc., He was responsible for initiating the Asia Operation. He built and managed a team of 4 engineers covering the Asia Market inclusive of China, whereby he displayed his leadership, dedication and perseverance in pursuing targeted goals under limited resources.

His high standard of presentation skills in multi languages, ability to develop productive relationship with business associates and communicate with all levels of customer's organization has helped WatchMark to close multi-million deals in Asia and China.

Subsequently, Terrence was engaged by WholeWise Sci. & Tech. Co., Ltd, (a public listed company in China), as Vice President responsible for its International business for example,
1.) Exploring international opportunities for WholeWise's Telecom Operations Software
2.) Sourcing International Technological Product into China leveraging WholeWise's China Clientele Coverage
3.) Inviting and evaluating strategic Partnership/alliance with International Technology Companies.

With all the above mentioned qualities, achievements, industrial experience and international exposure in business negotiations, Terence Lim is an ideal candidate where corporate or private enterprise participation in International business is of paramount importance. His soft mannered nature, interest in all aspects of the business community, social and welfare affairs, ability to focus on topical issues and persevere under competitive and constrained environments should enable him to achieve his goal within a favorable time frame.
